2006 SRT6 Available

The only changes illustrated in the brochure are photoshopped revised SRT6 emblems and the addition of a SRT6 emblem on each front fender - which this car has neither the revised logo or additional emblems.

Thanks RPM.
I had seen the pic of the side emblems on the german site a while back too but have yet to see them on an actual car. I have also seen a brief given to chrysler dealers that there was no 2006 anything with a revise model in 2007 but that was clearly inaccurate. I agree this would be a very wise buy for someone who can hold on to it.

I think we have found the buyer of the '06 SRT on ebay.

Differences under the hood?
I don't think there are any engine differences between 05' - 06'.

The gestures/way he said it, made me think he meant the little stuff like washer tank fuse box lids etc. Anyone have an '06 base model for underhood pics??

Well - Here's another 2006 SRT6 Roadster from the same seller. The VIN is 1 digit off from the previous one.
Think we may be on to something with the re-badging of 2005 models - since Ford and Chevrolet do it.

Question; in your database of SRTs, what is the highest built # for a 2005 model? Do you have any 2005 model numbers that are higher than the two 2006 models listed on ebay?
If that the case, the owners of those 2005 may have, shall I say been defrauded by DCX, since we know that the build # are sequential.
However, I don't believe that the case, since the build # on those two 2006 SRTs are within the range of non SRT 2006 models. It would be great if you could confirm my theory...

The 2 2006 SRT6 roadsters that have been on ebay are the highest VINs by about 4,000 or so.
DCX has so many Xfires still sitting around, they are probably just re-badging them w/2006 VINs to sell as 2006 models. Chevy and Ford have done this with previous generation F150s and Silverados for some time (i.e. leftovers are turned into 'new' heritage/signature editions).
Later on tonight, I'll try to log back on and be more specific.
