Question Inquiring about acquiring an SRT

Now while I know it fluctuates from dealer to dealer, location to location, can anyone give me a ballpark figure of what I would be paying for an SRT with under 20,000 miles? Pursuing this car seemed like just a day dream, but with my new job it's much more of a possibility. And on a side note, why in the world is every SRT-6 that I see on autotrader and e-bay aero blue? Not to bash the color, it's just not for me. I'm really looking for black.

because they are wither blue, graphite, or black. and blue is the most common. I would say anywhere from $25k-28k, depending on mileage.

I'm with you on the color. When I was looking - there were a lot of Aero Blues and Sapphire Silver Blues out there. My wife wanted the gray, but got a great deal on a black one so here we are. Most of the black ones I saw had 'pimped out' wheels and such on them too. I wanted a bone stock one.
Anyways, are you more interested in a coupe or a roadster?
SRT6 coupes can be had for around $25k at times. Probably $30k or a little above for a roadster.

Check ebay. A bunch have been on there the past few weeks with no reserves.
Actually, I did a search for you - see this link:
http://motors.search.ebay.com/srt6_C...40QQsacatZ6001

Found mine on Cars.com at a dealer in MN and had it shipped.

Good luck.

Thanks for the information RPM, that's price range I was looking/hoping for. I'm just hoping to use these kind of figures as leverage when I go into the dealer tomorrow (a friend of the family) and tell him what exactly I'm looking for (I want a coupe) and then let him put his feelers out. And to "old man", I'm in agreement with you. A freshly detailed black crossfire is second to none, though a ***** to keep clean.

Emthusiast, where in PA are you located? I'm right on the MD/PA boarder, and my father lives just south of Gettysburg. If I could get a new one for that kind of deal I would be on cloud nine.

I live in West Chester. I bought the car from Rothrock in Allentown. A coupe of my co-workers got the same deal. 2 of us actually bought it together (my friend negotiated). the 3rd guy used us as a reference and got the same deal. They initially wanted more from him, but he said call me when u r ready to sell it for 27k. After a week they did.
I haven't checked their website recently, but the did not have any SRT6's after that.

I'm sure if you look around you can find a great deal. remember that these cars have been sitting at the dealership for a long time. Give them a price and tell them if they are interested in selling it for that to call you. They will in a week or 2.

Yeah cfire, it's beautiful and just what I'm looking for. A shame it's all the way out in Illinois. The meeting is after work today, I'll let you all in on the gory details. Man, I'm excited!

You could always get it shipped. I think RPM got his shipped from MN and he was very happy. I don't know how easy it is going to be for the dealership to find one very fast. There were only 2016 SRT-6 coupes made worldwide. Good Luck!

Met with the dealer tonight and didn't end up with an SRT-6, but I'm happy as a clam. I'm now the owner of a brand new 2006 Limited, black 6 spd. I'm so excited but now I'll have to wait for 1 to 2 weeks until it can be delivered...
