AC Problem
Has this happened to anyone - when I turn the AC control to "0" the air is still blowing and the "snowflake" light is till on.
I can't get the AC to turn off... which isn't an immediate problem because it is almost July and I live in Houston!!

I have a problem similar in that after the AC is turned off (snowflake light goes out) it seems to continue to run for several minutes, eventually turning off - but a long time after the it has been switched off. Does anyone know if this is the same/related problem or different?
Is the recirculate button also lit up? One of the features of our A/C system is that you can still have the air/heat run for approximately 10 minutes after the car is shut off when the recirculate button is pushed on.
I'm having the same problem. I just picked that car up, and didn't know any better till I really started playing with everything a few days later. I noticed that with the fan Speed control in the "O" position, that air was still coming out. I can turn the AC on and off with the Snowflake button, but air is always blowing. The other thing that I noticed is that there is no fan speed increase after position 2 1/2. 3,4, and 5 don't respond at all. It isn't a major problem as it's hot as hell here right now, but I guess I'll get it checked out a little later. It just annoying to have to keep adjusting the temperature dial to stay comfortable, because all the way cold will freeze me out even on "O". Even when it's 90+ degrees, I find myself setting the temp dial on the white dot to keep from getting too cold. I guess this will be my first service experience with the Stealership. My dealer is a big one, so hopefully they have worked on a couple XFs before.
