Great idea, but FYI the email subscription notices haven't worked since the server changeover about a month ago. Hopefully that will be fixed soon, but you may still need to check manually for a while.

Is there a usual time when these stock bosch pumps fail? What causes the failure, the excessive heat?

If you pull apart the failed pumps, you'll notice a lot of carbon build-up and excessive wear on one side. The general consensus (I think!) is that the horizontal mount position for this pump is not optimal. It would probably last longer if it were mounted vertically - however, we just don't have the space in there to do that.

My SRT ran out of power just this past Tuesday. No codes thrown, but I'm sure this is the problem. Anyway dealer agrees, but 14 days for replacement parts...

Only took two days for each SRT IC pump to be replaced once they decided to believe me that the lack of acceleration was due to the IC pump.

They were taken in one week apart. Now they both run great.
