Anyone know the answers?

1. What is the SRT6 stock pulley size? I see 178s, 181s, and 185s are available.
2. What is the SRT6 stock level of boost? Looks like the pulleys above produce 14%, 16%, and 20% respectively.
3. What other mods are needed with the 181s and 185s (larger HE, belt, etc.)?
4. Why do birds suddenly appear . . . .

Thanks in advance.
1. 6.125" or 155mm
2. 14.5 PSI
3. The 181mm will require nothing, but a good tune is helpful, the 185mm will require a larger heat exchanger and possibly a tune.
4. Because of the stuff you smoke.

I would say up to 50whp / 50wtrq with a tune, pulley, and the airboxes.

Our cars vary so much on baseline dynos that it's hard to guess. Some guys are pulling 275whp and others are hitting up to 295whp.

I can assure you that your butt dyno will be reading much higher than 50.

.

Ok, before i go ahead and order the spacers and HE from LET......Will I benefit from these if im running a Needswing intake and the 178mm pulley?? I would assume yes, but i just want to make sure that im spending $$$ in the right place. I do plan on getting an ECU tune as well. Thanks!

Yes - Our cars (SRT6) require more intake - even if running stock In my experience. With any added boost (177 - 181 - 185) your IAT increase and cooling them off is the most important performance "saving" mod you can do.

I say "saving" because a bigger HE and Pump won't add HP, just give you back what you lost due to heat soak and allow you to keep it. A must for racing and on hot and humid days. You should get the Johnson pump at the same time. You will already have the bumper off.

Call and ask to Erick about moving up to a 185mm pulley. Now that you have the idler and water pump pulley (that you won't need again) the upgrade may be inexpensive and you could sell that little pulley on EBAY and re-coup your $$.

Everyone benefits from with a bigger crank and a better Johnson.

** EDIT **

I want to add that the NW intake will provide all the air your SRT will need and will complement any pulley - - Stock to 185mm.

Brice at Alamo did a dyno for me on my Daytona. We talked about the work they do there. I was very impressed with him and his knowledge. I wouldn`t hesitate a second letting him mod my srt6.

If I wasn`t on my way to Franks Racing in Houston this weekend and just spent 1500 bucks on the camshaft and other mods for my Daytona I would be all over this pulley deal. I`ll have to start saving again.

Good luck guys. I`m looking forward to hearing all the good reports.

You don't have to get it dynoed for a tune. Just buy an ecu reflash from LET (evotech), INMotion, Speed Innovations, or any other tuner I'm forgetting. I would think a tuned ecu would be highly recommended to get your dollars worth out the larger pulley.

Hey RPM, I'm getting the 185mm pulley. I figure "if I'm going to go, go all out."

I hear the 155mm works without a tune.

Go for the 181 - The ECU will adapt well to it and it's less $$ then any F/M pulley. You can tune it up later for max performance. You can't go wrong - these pulleys are better designed then the OEM.

Thanks for pointing that out Brian.

The mechanical dampener in the new pulleys will dampen throughout the entire RPM band. It contains about 28 internal pieces, including 8 springs.
