I've had zero problems with my 185mm, no S/C clutch slipping, no lean conditions, etc... Just tire spinning from a dead stop and TONS of PULL!!

the pulley is both internally dampened and neutral balanced prior to attaching to the crank shaft...
the 185mm pulley (the biggest we offer) spins the blower at 19,250rpms, very safe buffer zone from the max rpm of the blower...

I ordered the 181 today - in the comments/remarks section I asked about any discount on the SL55 intake if I bought one of those too....just let me know. I am going to do a new intake and am leaning toward the SL55 but probably won't install either (intake or pulley) until spring (when it warms a bit).
Another question...for the ECU to adapt is there any difference in which mod to install first, intake or pulley. If so, is there any benefit to a buffer time, i.e., do the intake and drive the car for a week and then do the pulley or vice versa? (I'm probably reading too much into this..)

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I am still slightly confused. It’s understood that the harmonic balancer is internally dampened and balanced and it appears to be a Fluidampr, which is great news to me. But my question comes when breaking the harmonic balancer / blower drive pulley assembly down one more level:
...Is the grooved blower drive pulley, which is cast/machined separately and bolted to the harmonic balancer with 6 bolts, balanced separately prior to its attachment to the BALANCER?
...Or is the complete assembly of harmonic balancer and pulley RE-balanced as an ASSEMBLED pair once they are bolted to each other?
…Thus making the entire assembly 100% neutral balanced and not just the harmonic balancer portion of the unit.
I just need to be clear, as I’ll be balancing mine after purchase, if need be

Also a more technical question. Other accesories on the belt are going to spin a lot faster due to a bigger pulley, does it affect the water pump or the alternator in any way?... I know they were spining very fast when the engine was at 5100 rpms with the stock 155mm, what about after the pulley swap to 185mm with the engine at 5100 rpms? the increase is exponential, so I am not asking for numbers just an opinion on my concern.

I would install the pulley, then reset the ECU by unplugging the battery. The intake can be done at the same time...no need to wait.

The pulleys use a mechanical dampener that consists of about 28 internal pieces. I don't want to get into the details of our pulley for obvious reasons. However, I can tell you that they are balanced and tested before shipping. The mechanical dampener works throughout the RPM range unlike the fluid dampened version.
There is no feasible way to balance the pulley as a whole unit other than the internal mechanical balancer.

As far as I know, there are no issues. I have been running a 185mm on my C32 for 6 months with no issues. Other guys have ran the 178mm pulley for 70k + miles.
