Well that didn't work did it? Hahaha, kidding.

Like I said last night, I personally think you have an air bubble in your line somewhere. Maybe I can swing down this weekend and we can see if we can find it...I'll see if I can steal (buy) some MB coolant from the dealer here...though I think at $20/quart I will sy unlikely.

Yes, both of our cars were quite hot...they were only sitting w/ hood open for 30min max, and mine was probably less.

Was your car hot from drivng to the track? I know my times suck if I do not let the car cool off for over an hour when I go but then again it takes me 3.5 to 4 hours to get to the track (each way).

I am sure you will get it figured out soon, just hang in there!
Yeah, that is what I was thinking. Why are the IAT' so hot?! Hmmmmm. Is my intercooler working? Is there an air bubble in the system? How about the HE and also the NW IC seperator?

Chris did you ever close the valve on the NW IC separator?

Btw, it was great meeting you Matt. It's cool seeing another 6 at Atco. Usually it's only me and Chris. Still you guys were some of the fastest "street" cars there last night. The only cars running faster were gutted race cars that were trailered in.

It was fun having multiple 6's at the track...now you gotta come out and race next time...

The 'what the hell was that' factor was in full effect last night...I gotta work on me RT though. damn .084 RT lost me the gamblers.

I do have a serious queston though. Say there were air bubbles in the system that caused my high IAT's.....Would that cause the car to lean out?

Are you still running the "stacked pulleys" ?

Nope.

Your IAT temps are high(er) because of the HE, they look very familiar to what mine were before upgrading to the supercooler. If you think there are air bubbles in the system, just open the valves on the iso system and drive around to get them out.

It is not simply because of the HE. I have the same HE, and would be willing to wager money my IATs are not that high...there has to be some other issue in conjunction...

$.02? Cause its all anyone's opinion is worth, including mine.

I will say I do not have manifolds or an intake on my car, so that may be adversely affecting things...just a thought. We were going to hook up Chris's iRev program or whatever its called to my car last night to get one run in with it, but 10pm came around and we got denied...

oh well, next time we will hook it up and see what the IATs are...cause now I'm curious.

the only thing I know is mine is definitely not falling flat on its face on the top end...so there has to be something different.

It may be something else, but I remember specifically when I put the same datalogger on Glens car, I noticed his IAT's were much less than mine! He has the NW supercooler.

Really its an educated guess. It doesn't matter if you have manifolds or an intake because I had stock manis and an SL55 on mine during testing. The IATs are not the reason his car is falling flat, I was in the same boat.

The thought was to open the injectors more, still leaning at 5k rpm but not like distantpulse. Maybe, if you add fuel before 5K rpm you will not lean out as much on the top end, fuel pressure.......

::Edit:: Just becasue your car is not falling flat, doesn't mean your not leaning out on the top end either.

Can you post up your a/f ratio at every 500rpms to see where they are?

as for the temps, hopefully it is something simple like an air bubble.
