Unfortunately, I just made a wasted pass! >: I tried to launch at 2200 and the track couldn't hold me. I blew away the tires I kept spinning literally to the 330 ft mark. By that time it was already over....first round coming up! Now I have to figure out the dial in....the weather is absolutely perfect!!! Im trying guys, LOL.

Update.....we did get another timeshot. I launched much lower at 1600. Car spun still, but not as bad. 1.924 60ft and a 12.669@110.67.....not bad, but she still has more in her I think. First round coming.....

Dial in around 13.00 so you have time to recover if you do spin the tires. Don't forget to brake just before the lights if you are ahead so you don't break out. Bracket racing on a Tuesday? Must be nice and during the day, that's insane. Represent us well.

I have no words to describe what just happend 1st round!!! I dialed a 12.68 figuring I would hold a little in case it spun. Well i get a dragster dialed in at 8.70 so its a pretty big spot and a tough judge at the finishline. Well I launched the car at 1600 and mashed. This time the car took off like its never have! No tire spin and a 1.725 60ft!!! Wow! By the 1/8 mile I'm at 7.811@87.98(4 tenths better!!) and of course I'm way out on the dragster and slow up to a 12.494@82!!!!!! Wtf?!? Again, a little over 4 tenths better at 1000ft!!! Of course I lose the round which sucks because I had a good .011 light to his .297!! I calculated the car on a 12.23@111 maybe 112. Now that I lost I wish I would have just stayed in it! LOL. I'm shocked/happy at this time I was pulling just with these two mods.

Nope 1.725 60' would definately put you into the 11's. I don't think anyone has gotten that low yet. Wow incredible. Sorry I didn't post earlier about hitting that brake pretty good at the top. Nice run, usually they will let you test and tune between elimination rounds. Put your slip up anyways, proudly show that 60' time off.

1.70 is about where I was on my 12.08 run, you could have pulled a 12.20 for sure! And mine was on slicks!

This car is funny. Obviously it loooooves cold dry air. Like I said the weather was perfect IMO. I'm wondering about the possibilty of belt slippage though because I never felt the car that strong off the line. It surprised me actually.

Man, your car is a fast one, good job. It's to bad you could not run more times and get that 11.

If anyone is interested, here is the time slip from my last run. I had to photoshop(poorly) the numbers in as it was too blurry to read. I do not have a scanner and i took a pic of it with the iphone(which is not great for photos). Sorry! Anyway, like I mentioned the only mods I have are the NW Intake and the ASP 178mm pulley. I cooled the car for about 30 min in between runs. I went into the waterbox a little below the notch at the half mark. Did my burnout through 2nd and staged the car at 1600rpm. DO NOT idle in the staging lanes while you wait to make your run. 11's should not be that hard to obtain with a couple of more mods! I've said it before, but the key to good runs is a well prepped track and a good launch technique to get those 60ft times down. You guys with more mods than I have should go on a day where you KNOW there is going to be glue sprayed on the track as well as actual race cars running. They warm the track and lay down rubber. Do this and I would be interested in seeing your time slips

Here is some cool pic's taken last Tuesday at the track by the photographer......Funny, the pic taken from the front was the first time shot where I was spinning the tire while power braking before i even left the line! I looked like an idiot smoking the tire past the 330' before i started to hook. I know the photographer and as i was coming back the return road, he threw his hands in the air to say "What was that??" Haha
