Nice, that definitely makes it easier to pick and choose optimal days to run. I'm jealous!!!!!!!!!!!

mayday! Mayday! We have lost power! LOL. First pass a 12.62@109?!? WTF? Everything was slow. 60ft 1.84 and it seemed to just lay down in 3rd. Granted the car was super hot. I've never ran it that hot, but I drove 20 min to the track and strapped on the helmet and made the pass. Hmmmm, still don't think it should be that slow. Stay tuned. First round coming up!

not a good night for the 6 first round runner up! I cooled it down to where I normally run at and dialed a 12.45 thinking I should be able to cover that. Car was on a 12.53! I'm missing about 3 tenths and 2 mph from normal!! Like I said, the only thing I changed was the plugs and added the spacers! WTF? Could the plugs make that big a difference?! The car had nothing in the higher RPM range. It felt as if it was just laying down. Any thoughts??

I'm not sure whats going on, but if you show up on OCT 12 running that, I'm going to mop the floor with you!

Weird, I didn't think the new mods you had were going to make a big difference, but I don't see why you would run slower.

Man, I just took my car out for a spin in the 61 degree weather we have right now and boy is my supercharger singing loudly and pulling like an ox. Just testing my new OBDII reader/data logger.

Sounds as though it pulled a little timing.

Sorry to hear the slower times. What were the temps at the track? May I ask why did you go one step colder?

You won't have to worry about that Blue, I'll get her all tuned up for the big show! Apparently, im running too rich and need to open the gap back up. I just can't believe I lost that much in ET and MPH by doing that.

The weather was very good....75 deg, 38% humidity, 30.20 barometer, 900-1000' DA. In simillar weather, I was running 12.2's@111-112.

didn't you get a new tune as well? It's probably the heat soak, it don't matter all the cooling mods you have if your temp is a tick past half way then your car is going to dog it. That's still some sweet DA. That's inline what I run in DA just a little higher than that during my winters. Barometric pressure was high though, that plays a big part as well.

No I didn't get a new tune. Just the spacers and 1 step colder plugs gapped to .035. I don't think it was all heat soak related because before, in fairly similar weather, I have came in off the street (Heat soaked) and ran it and went 12.28@111 and stayed fairly close to that number give or take 5 hundreths. So im missing a bunch. I could also feel the car just not pulling on the upper RPM range like it use to. I am going to go back to .040 gap and see if it helps any. If that doesn't do it, im taking the spacers off. If that doesn't do it, im going back to the stock plugs and gaps? lol. At least I didn't change a bunch of things at once, so I can isolate the problem fairly easily. Not worried yet!

Heading to the track in a little while. I am going to be filming it. No live feed, but ill post the video up when I get it edited down. I am going to try and set up an in car shot. Kinda like what you see in Pinks, except the camera is going to be positioned behind my right shoulder so you can see the gauges and the track/tree, me judging the stripe etc.... Hopefully I can position the camera right.
