Default With the automatic tranny what RPM should?

What RPM should my Automatic transmission shift into 5th.......................Was doing like 80 today and car would not shift into the last gear............

It all depends on how much your foot is into the pedal.
At 80 it certainly should have been in 5th unless you were really getting on it hard.

I was drawn into a race with a new Infiniti G37 and had to see what she would do............ I went around him like he was standing still..................Srt6 is as fast as my modified 05 Mustang gt with 350 HP.......Was very surprised by how quick this car really is stock................

When I'm running the 1/4 I shift out of third at around 110mph so you'll not reach fifth in a drag @ 80mph

My car shifts into 5th at around 60 miles an hour during normal driving, does this sound about right? I am loving this site for general info as I am still very new to this car.

when i'm on it, it goes all the way to redline before shifting. not sure i like that myself because i don't need to be on the floor, just into it some and it goes all the way up. not sure what redline would be in 4th but i bet it's above 80.
