Default Traction control on or off?

I hear of burn outs and chirping thru thrid gear all the time on this board. Do most of you drive with traction control off? If so, will the car perform more like a 70's muscle car with it off? (burn outs, sliding around corners, ect) I don't have the wild side I used to, so haven't tried the car with it off much.

Also, what the best way to light up from a stop? Put in in 1st manual, or just stomp on it in automatic?

Thanks

Turn traction control off, put it in first and stomp on the gas.

I have my traction control off(as much as possible) at all times............I like having control of my vehicles. Ohhh; and mine will fishtail and spin the tires if I floor it on the freeway at 60-65mph.

The shifts are more agressive with it off. No matter how hard you are pressing the gas. I love it.

i don't think more aggresive... but who knows..

put it in 1st... and dont touch it.. stomp on the gas. it will automatically shift @ redline and thats for maximum acceleration

well i know it does that but it doesnt feel any more aggressive shifting wise than with the tc on other than a large burn out in the beginning
