MP3 Disc Player (Factory
In the past I also had problems playing cds that I burned from my computer in my car cd players. Then I read in one of the PC magazines that the trick to getting these home made burned cds to play in a car player is to BURN THEM AT A SLOW speed. This allows a better quality burn that the car cd players can read. Once I burned my cds at the slowest speeds they play just fine now. I also think the trick to playing mp3 music in these car cd players is to burn them as audio cds and not data cds as was discussed before by radmanly.
Also worth mentioning, try a better quality of CD-R. I don't seem to have any problems with TDK. Also, a decent PC with latest burning software and a modern CD/DVD writer (2007 or later).
It would be good if the standard head unit would play DVD-Audio. many more tracks on one disk then. But hey...
