Default Got the Dyno done on the Aero

I finaly got the Aero in and got a Dyno done with the SL55 intake and the 181mm pulley. See the Mustang dyno sheet below. They did three pulls and they all came out pretty close to the same. The first pull he only went to 5500rpm as I thought it would car would limit there with no front wheel movement, it didnt, the max rWhp was 297 and rwtrq 304. The second pull he went to redline and the max rwhp was 307 and rwtrq was 294. Pull number three was pretty much the same but he started out lower rpm and when the covertor kicked in it through some BIG spikes on the front end of the graph that through the peak and avg numbers all off. After the spikes it tracked the same as the frist two. The A/F avg was 11.5 with a max of 12.3 both runs 1 & 2. Max boost was measured in inches of mercury = 62". Not sure what that is in PSI.

So 307 rWhp max and 300 rWtrq for basic numbers before the ECU gets tuned by LET.

The temp outside today was about 85. Dont know what the humidity was, probably about 50%. We are in Oregon. It has been hot and sunny here for the last week though(85-95).

Those are some good numbers. According to my conversion 62 In. of Mercury is like 30.45 PSI and your AFR is well within the safe range.

Looks like you got yourself a screamer...

** EDIT **

If the shop was near an airport, you could get some weather and altitude info and use this calculator to get the corrected density altitude for a better PSI conversion.

Brians reading of 30.45 psi is accurate, you need to consider that the atmosphere is about 29.96" of mercury normally; or as the old Colonel ( of KFC Chicken ) used to say in his commercials fourteen and 7/10 pounds. That works out to 15.75 psi boost.

I was going to post this earlier but the 5th grader that helps me with number and math was riding his bike till now.

Enjoying, Woody

Excellent pulls and thanks for posting. Its great to see the car maintains a good A/F with the SL55/ 181 setup under a full load.
