if you want to say your tunes are cool i dont see any problem with that, nor do i think anyone else would unless it was proven wrong. But to incorrectly say a competitor is snagging someone elses work in order to promote your stuff isn't right.
btw, we don't (nor ever have) make a dime off of any inmotion sales.

thanks for setting the record straight, we are not in the business of stealing anyone's business, there is plenty out there for everyone, i know we are busy non-stop...
How else could someone with no garage and no dyno have "tunes" for every singe car on the road?
With that being said - I called / emailed a lot of companies offering tunes and James at Inmotion was one of the very few who was not a BS salesman - and was more then willing to modify his base tune to adjust for altitude, driving habits, etc.. but that required a lot of data logging and shipping.
I decided to go with someone who had a lot of experience with the 3.2L AMG motor - and luckily - his shop was only 30 minutes down the highway...
It's good to see more and more experienced tuners available for the Crossfire. Plenty more options to choose from.....

I have the exact same tune as Rob@needswings. I was planning to run a 25-35shot of N20, so I figured it would be a good start since Robs manifolds increased airflow and showed a 35whp gain. I have yet to install my wideband, nitrous or do any datalogging. Too many other things to worry about right now.
Since LET deals specifically with these motors, I thought their tune might be better, so I asked if anyone had it. I guess there really is no way to tell without a back to back dyno comparison on the same car. Rob has shown good results with his tune from Inmotion, so I think I'll just stick with his tune since I already spent the money . I am actually thinking of not running the nitrous and picking up a set of Robs manifolds when released. The car runs good with the Inmotion tune now, but it is probally running a little rich without the extra air from the N20 or intake manifolds. If I can get it to the 11's without having to fill up a bottle I will be happy.
Would you be willing to drive to Houston for a custom tune on the dyno?

would my narrowband O2sensor show around 0,1V when I'm too lean at WOT e.g at HighSpeed in 4.or 5.Gear and around 0,8-0,9V if I'm rich? Can I at least exclude all possibility of doubt that I'm running too lean at WOT if it shows 0,8-0,9V?
Thanks.
Yes, a reading of .2 V would represent a lean mixture. A reading of .8 would be a rich mixture.
The perfect stoichiometric point would be around .45 V - .50 V at WOT.
The ECU only see's lean or rich ad does not register specific values from the O2 sensors.

My issue is I don't want to install a bunch of gauges just to tune the car. I have the same mods as a lot of guys. Code 3 pulley and Needswings intake. Can LET just replicate a tune from a similar modded car that provided the parameters for A/F and data?

Only for this reason was I thinking of the inmotion tune with 3 different chips stock, summer, and winter. I may be the only one who races in 100+ degree weather in the summer.
Thanks for a great discussion.

LET is beta-testing our TwinTune setup right now. We have a switch to toggle between two setups, be it nitrous, race fuel, or valet.
As others have pointed out, LET develops our tunes in-house, on the dyno. As far as we know, LET is the only shop able to do true custom tuning, not involving an overseas file service.

So it is possible to have a custom tune for different setups? Is that by replacing the chips as well?
Do you guys work with any of the tuners in Scottsdale? Lot's of high hp MB guys there.
Thanks again for the help.
I just got the ECU back from LET a couple of hours ago. Boy does it feel good in there. Pulling VERY strong and really gets up and moves out. Crusing at 70 on cruise control and it just feels like it want to take off and go. I cant wait to get it back to the track and the dyno. I'll post the numbers when I get them. Then you can see the before and after data.

Remember, the hotter the fuel, the more octane required.
Yes, our new flip chip will allow you to have two different tunes, available via a switch. Turn the car off, flip the switch, then you will be running the "other" tune the next you start the car.
We are in the process of setting up a partnership with a company in AZ. I'll have more info later.

Very nice. Most of the mb guys are on http://www.scottsdaleexoticcarclub.com/forum/, wild SLR comes out to play when they rent they rent the track. Also some 10 sec biturbo's.
