Aaron just replied to my email. He said based on their research the A/F would be in the high 12s with the pulley and an intake, stock was around 12.5. I'm just a little concerned this is on the slightly lean side, especially on a cold day. I'm still tempted to buy one and then hook up a wideband to it to see what the A/F are on my car. I just don't want to have to do anything else to make it safe (get a tune, add water/meth, etc).

Anyone with this pulley already hooked their car up to a wideband, or had it dynoed with A/F available?

This sounds like a great buy to me. I've emailed him to see if he'll grant an extension on the sale. I'll let you guys know what he says.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that. In his response to me he said that they will be doing the 20% off for another week or so.

Terrific, thanks for checking...gives a bit of time to think about this and research it.

I thought that 12.5 to 13 was the max power range for A/F? Although I do understand your caution and desire to run pig-rich when running FI.

ordered before the so called deadline Sunday night. I got the automated thanks for your order. And this statement from Aaron Sunday night.

"Also, we really appreciate your business! Your order will most likely be shipping tomorrow."

It's now Wednesday night and my order still sayes invoiced and nothing more?? Now it's between them and Paypal. I called them to asked if they had any disputes and the tech at Paypal filed one.
And no answered emails to code3 or messages left.

I'm glad I'm not the only one being ignored.

Thumbs down Re: 20% Off Code3 Products

Now I get a email from Code3.

They are out of stock yet the web page still states " Status: In-Stock ".
recieved at 11PM 8-7-08
"Hi David,

I thought for sure I emailed you in regards to your order, obviously I did not. The sale depleted our inventory of pulleys very quickly. Not to worry, as we have 30 of them already built, simply not assembled. Our shop is working on getting them together as we speak, but I will not have them until Monday at the latest. I would be more than happy to overnight the pulley to you because of this. If you want to cancel your order, please let me know and I will refund your money. Otherwise, the pulley will be on its way shortly.

Thank you,

Brandon Smith"

There’re plenty here who stink up the joint singing the praises of Code3.

Brandon failed me on two separate orders, and never even had the decency to return phone calls/emails.
He’s enlisted the ‘help’ of a marketing shill that doesn’t know squat.

Except for those rather minor shortcomings, they’re fine folk.

When I talked with Brandon about a month or two ago about running his S/C pulley with my 178 crank pulley, he said it create's a little too much heat and wouldn't advise trying to do so. The more boost you have the hotter the the air, so the ECU will start pulling timing & start dumping the fuel to it to try to cool it down. So that being said, I think you would loose performance trying to run them together.

Yes it would create more heat, but a nice water/meth kit along with other cooling mods (HE, spacers, T-stat, etc...) should be very complimentary to this combo of pullies. This is what I plan on doing.

Yes it cleared all the data on me too. I set up an account and saved my billing address and my shipping address. Then I was able to use the dropdown box to fill in the information.
