My steering wheel does not lock when in park. Is this normal?
I bought the car new and it has never locked while in park, I can turn the wheel in all directions.

 

Suppose you take the key out of the ignition. Will it lock then?

 

If it doesn't bother you, don't mess with it. I learned my lesson. There is no spline on our wheel. It won't be 100% straight when it all goes back together.

 

Even with the key out of the ignition the colum does not lock. It does not bother me but if it is something that should be fixed under warranty I will do so.
So far the question is unanswered. Do the steering wheels lock on all of your crossfires?

 

All the steering wheels lock on Crossfires. If yours does not lock, check your dealership. Good lucj.

They lock on both of mine.

mine lock's .... move the wheel position i tad to the left oor right to see if it will lock .... might be slack in their
