Default superseaded part numbers

Hello Can Antbody Help Me Out ??????
Went To The Dealership And Tried To Get My Car Repaired For Several Items, Such As,
1. The Center Vent
2. Wiper Arm Caps Missing
3. Passenger Side Wiper Not Available With Air Deflector
4. And Replace The Broken Drivers Side Fog Lamp Assembly

1. They Gave Me A High Gloss Center Vent And Stated The Satin Finish Is No Longer Available!!!!
2. They Told Me There Are No Caps For The Wiper Arms Since Its A Underhood Design, But Car Came With Them ?????
3. Can Not Get The Passenger Side Wiper Blade Replacement With Air Deflector ????
4. Then Now They Have Change Designs On The Fog Lamp The Original Has An Dark Grey Insert In It And The New One Does Not Come With That Part In It Any More !!!!
I Know At One Time There Was A Chrysler Employee On This Site Who Could Help Out With This Kind Of Information, Is That Person Still Available ?
If Any Body Has Any Answers I Would Greatly Appreciate Any Assistance I Could Get Regarding These Superceaded Parts, In Order To Get My 05 Xfire Srt Back To The Way I Bought It
Thanks Kevin

The original part number on the blade is 5099055AB. It has been superseded to 5189813AA. However the system does show one and one only in stock of the original number at one of the depots. The cap is 5101489AA. The old style lamps does appear to be gone. Where is the vent that you are looking for?

The center vent is the one that was replaced, they replaced it with the high gloss finish instead of the satin finish, so now the parts do not match on the console, and was told that this is the only center vent available, I have tried three times now to get a satin finish center vent. Thanks for the part #'s for the caps, and the info on the fog lamp

found the R/O they replaced it with YA46XZAA but according to the dealership!!! they no longer make the brushed finish or what I call satin finish. it is the middle vent assembly in the front console its also called a duct, I was online and could not find the part number either. But either way they lied about the wiper blade, they lied about the wiper arm caps and why not lie about the vent too??? and again folks, thanks for the help.
CAN I GET THE TSB # FOR FOG LAMPS ???
CAN I GET THE PART # FOR THE CENTER DUCT/VENT ASSEMBLIES ???

Thank you guys for all the information, all model crossfires came with the wiper arm deflectors on both sides, stock from the factory, its a shame they decided to change the design and still charge the same price and they all came with the wiper caps this is my second crossfire. It will be nice to go back to the dealer and give them the part numbers they dont know how to look up, this is why I joined in on this forum, because we know more about our cars than all the dealers combined, once again thank you for the help, I will try again monday to get my car fixed right the first time, LOL

As Danimal posted earlier the passenger side wiper didn't come with a deflector on the crossfire but if you want one like I did the parts guy at the Chrysler dealer looked one up with a deflector for me. The part numbers are Mercedes# A 170 820 01 45 or Chrysler # 1-05099055AB this is right off the box. The wipers I use now are the Bosch Icons and I love them.

Well again thanks for the part #,s But to let you all know that I have boughten two Crossfires an 04 coupe and the 05 SRT6 and they both came stock from Germany with deflectors on both wiper arms, and this is why I know that they are on both sides, I have had this trouble before with the 04 and the 05 on wiper arm deflectors, now the dealer said that the 0509905AB was superceaded by # 05189813AA, which does not come with the deflector. I don't want to say you guys are wrong, but the two xfires I own did come with them originally, I will check on the Benz part # so maybe I am the unlucky one who got what we all should of gotten when we bought our xfires ??????

Thank you Sowardcustoms, for confirming I was correct, now I just got to get one to replace the one that did not come with the deflector, I know there is one in Sherwood depot an original I think the only one left, so I will try to get it and if not I will try the Benz people, for the Benz replacement, and if not I will swap out just the rubber insert from my old one I saved also, but you have to bend out the tabs a bit to get it in place so eventually it probally will break due to bending back and forth, again guy's thanks so much for all the help. Since the new version has no mountings for the deflector.

Sunday evening I emailed Karmann customer service in Germany and asked them about the wiper discussion on this thread. So I checked my email yesterday but no response but today I received a response but not by email but a phone call from a representative from Karmann in Gremany. I couldn't believe that they would acually call instead of email but he said its better to talk to somebody in person than though an email. I agree! We talked about 15 minutes and it turns out he loves the Crossfire as much as we do but to answer the question at hand he said that when the Crossfire left the plant it had an air deflector on the drivers side only and if they had it on the passenger side the dealer changed it for some reason. It would be great if Chryslers customer service would respond to our questions about our cars this way.

Well to be honest I really do not see the dealership putting them on !!! for what???? now when I bought my first 04 it came right off the truck with the deflector on both sides so now what???? and when I bought my 05 it came with both deflectors also, different dealer though and not to mention why is there a part number with the deflector, if they did not put them on why offer a replacement, something here is way wrong, dealerships do not put stuff on cars and just give it to you for free and there was nothing on my invoice showing an extra charge for deflectors on the wipers. I have worked dealerships as a tech for 27 years and have not seen to many dealers jusy giving out freebies
