Default hood lock position

Hey guys,
I saw on wikicars that the hood can be locked straight up.....is something special needed to get it to that position? Because the normal position certainly isn't 90 degrees....

You'll notice a button on the shock that holds the hood up. Just push it in and push the hood up and you did it. To lower just push the button in and bring it down to normal.

Learn something new every day. I thought the hoods looked like they were straight up in many of the pictures, but thought it was just the angle of the photo.
