Default Need your Support this weekend on 1320x.com

I just got great news. I submitted a grudge match with a mean 68' Plymouth GTX 440, and guess what? We got picked for the show www.1320x.com So it's old vs new. Plymouth vs Chrysler matchup. Here is a link to his video on pass time.
http://www.1320x.com/video/video/sho...3AVideo%3A6118

It's a heads up race, and he is good. I've beat him once in the finals and he's beaten me once in the semi's both were bracket races. This one was a national event and I really wanted that wally.

This saturday the 1st of November the event will be broadcast live on www.1320x.tv during the event they will assign a text number for people to use for voting. The car with the most votes(by texting) get's to race in the Manufacturers cup against the other cars selected. I'm hoping to get that number early enough to post it up on here. It will be about 25 degrees hotter than when I ran my 12.02, so it should be interesting.

Thanks,
Cruzinquick

That’s a beautiful GTX 440. When he gets it all sorted…

Nah, you’ll still take him. Good luck!

Just checked and the voting is done at the race only. Time trials start at 9am Az time, and eliminations start at 4pm az time. Usually it streams all day. Last time was no commentary just live feed.

Default UPDATE: Need your Support this weekend on 1320x.com

Tonight I went to the track to pick up my pre-registration and yes voting will be by texting.

Here's the info.

The number to text to is 773333

The message is AZ M30 There has to be a space between AZ and M30.

That's it. The instructions don't say what carriers it will work with, so I'm not sure.

Thanks for all your help. I hope i'm the top MOPAR in votes. The event starts at 9am AZ time which is usually 3 hours behind the east coast, and 2 hours behind on daylight savings. You can only vote once. Let your peeps know.

Yeah, I signed up, but I have no clue where the "live" feed is? Anyone else see it?

Thanks guys I did make it to the manufacturers cup. I lost in the first round of the cup race because I broke out. The night was coming on and once it cooled I ran way faster than when I started it was really hard to dial. 1st pass was 12.37 at 87 degrees. 2nd pass was 12.40 at 96 degrees. After lots of oil downs and problems with the starting line about 4 hours later we finally had our grudge match. I lost that one too. It was 82 degrees out still hot and he was lucky we didn't have great weather. I ran a 12.25 to his 12.23 he literally beat me by a bumper. He got me out of the hole and I pulled him in but just not enough. It was a heads up race.
The good news is I went 4 rounds in the bracket race. I lost the last race because it cooled down to 75 degrees, and my car ran way quick compared to earlier. The prior race I ran 12.225 on a 12.22 dial. The very next race about 35 mins later, I ran 12.10 on a 12.28 dial. I can't wait for some cool weather. The first runs were about 4900' DA and the last were about 3000' DA.
Talked to charles at the track and he said the race will be online on Monday. Sorry don't know why it wasn't streamed live.

Good job Cruzin! Even though I couldn't find the live feed, I voted for you. Good runs and way to represent!
