My dad passed away in 1986 but I talk to him almost everyday. He is always with me as I'm sure that your dad is with you. I usually talk to him when I know I've done something he would be proud of. The other days I try not to bother him. Our prayers go out to you and your family.

I talk to my Dad everyday, it was about a year ago. I know he is busier than ever watching over his family and grand kids from a better place. He always had to be doing something.

I am sorry for your loss. My Mom passed on 4 months ago and the pain is difficult to deal with.

Thank you to everyone for your condolences. Each and every post was heart felt and helped me through this weekend. I was able to lead the church service and only broke down a few times. We had an incredible tribute to my father and my goal was to make him proud. The graveside service was the hardest for me, to say goodbye in the flesh for the last time. We had an awesome turnout and our funeral procession had to stop at least 3 times because the line was so long the funeral escorts couldn't get far enough ahead and still keep the back going. Thanks again to everyone and can't wait to get back to the track with my new angel next to me.
