SLK32 is 1490 KG, from my source SRT-6 Coupe is 1530KG, SRT-Roadster is 1570KG. SLK32 has 17 Zoll Wheels (Shorter Gearing) . The Air-drag-coefficient of the SLK32 is 0,34 and of the SRT-6 0,37 (from my Source).

From my understanding the coupe is 1470 and the convert 1510. What i would like to know from you more so is racing from 0-60mph. What were the differences and by how much?

The SRT was a full second faster in the quarter mile. I wonder what the SLK mods were though??

Quoting times off dragtimes.com as a reliable source is EL-OH-EL

My Numbers of weight are European-Weights. This means weight of the car plus 90% tanked up and with one 75KG driver in it. This is EG-Norm. Don't know the american word for this .

I think times on dragtimes differ very much, how much the car is tuned, good driver, track conditions etc. Also there are not so many SLK32 in the U.S., and more people are tuning the SRT-6 in my opinion.

Both cars a great and I really don't care if one is one or two tenths quicker from 0-60. Enjoy your car !

Wow, according to the SLK32 dragtimes, my slightly modded SRT is in second place with a 12.1! Gotta love the AMG drivetrain in both cars since they are identical! I would have owned an SLK32 if I didn't find a much better deal in the SRT6 at the time.

well, usually, autobaun or not, it comes down to driver and the ***** to go all out...I personally drove one, romped her pretty good, it was stock, mine is not...it would get its @ss kicked w/ not a problem...I liked the car very much, but I didn't pay anything close to what they paid for theirs, so for me, I'll stay w/ my XF and wouldn't run from a race w/ an SLK32...

TOTALLY agreed! When our cars become classics and end-up at car shows, people will be talking-up such unique, limited cars -- "WOW, I remember the Crossfire!". Nothing against the Mercs, they just don't have nearly the same unique-factor or lure as the Crossfire.

On a similar note, believe it or not, I have actually gotten more compliments from women on my Crossfire coupe than on my Maserati convertible (with the top down) ... and there is surely something to be said for that.
