1) Temperature: 40 F
2) DA: -1700
....That is a lot less impressive than it looks. My heavy C32 with SL55 intake and Code3 traps 109 at a +2700 DA at 70 F.....
either way, I am strongly considering one in the near future. I love how they look, and those motors,.....dont even get me started
The G8 is a nice package, I had a GT as a rental (Budget gave me the choice between that and a Jeep Patriot, Ha!) and I was quite impressed. My dad has an '05 GTO and the Holden guys have really moved it up a notch interms of quality and features. The GXP has to be awesome with the manual transmission!

G8's are nice looking cars but they are heavy people movers not sports cars. Sure anything can be made fast and they do run good but it would take a lot of mods to get it to handle like a sports car.
did I just get on a Pontiac thread, better log in again...G8 bs is making me nausious...there isn't anything Pontiac I would own again. I bought the twins Gran Am's from the car auction because they were cheap, but not cheap to maintain. I have had enough of GM dealerships and Pontiac parts to last a life time. This is XF country....not Pontiac...hope they have deep pockets, they will be a reliable as the rest of their junk...
^ Coming from a family that has owned 4 brand new Pontiacs over the past 12 years ( '96 Firebird Formula, '01 GrandAm GT, '05 G6 GT, and '05 GTO) as well as 4 Chryslers ('99 T&C, '99 300M, '05 Pacifica, '05 SRT-6- the only one bought used) I can say that the GM vehicles have given us many more problems than the Chryslers. The GTO has been an exception, it has been very reliable and currently has 62,000 miles.
Point being that since the G8 and GTO shared the same assembly plant in Australia and very few parts with other GM vehicles, you can't just assume that it will be unreliable.
