If the TPM light drives you nuts just fill 'em up when they're cold. If they still light up, they'll turn off as soon as the tires get warm.

Anyways, I hate getting out of the car in cold weather just to F around with the tires.

My dash tire pressure Light stays on after purchasing new tires??? I was told by the chrysler dealer that the 2005 crossfire TPMS callibration cost $80.00 ? Not under warranty??? The sensors are all working all tire pressure is good. The new Michlins were purchased and installed at Discount tire.Anyone heard of this before? $80 to calibrate the sensors?? The light won't shut off!!!

I run the recommended tire pressure that's on the sticker. They recommended those pressures for a reason. Safety first, now if running on a track than they will change but for street use it's what the manufacturer says.

Would factory recommended psi still apply on non-OEM size after-market rims and tires that?

275/35/19- 37.5psi
225/35/19- 33psi

Seems to feel the best to me when running hard in the curves, the car feels a little more balanced using those pressures.

Tire pressure affects tire wear and grip, I have kept mine at 32/33 to 33/34 with a nitrogen fill (for what thats worth) topped up with air. The wear pattern is very even on the Conti's for 12,000 miles. Not many miles for an '04 but bad wear shows up quickly.
