And the dummy explanation is you accelerate faster. (as long as you have traction). think better 0-60 times.

I'd love to...............but I have no crank pulley. I was hoping to have it overnighted back to me for Saturday morning but all the parts didn't arrive in time. Now I have to wait until NEXT MONTH to race the damn car. Sometime this year I will have results to post; I promise.

What happened to your crank pulley?

Crank bolts snapped on him i think. bolts and the block are two different metals, one expanded faster than the other and POP.

That sucks that it takes a month for you to be able to run. We can run about twice a week where I'm at, depending on the weather.

I'm curious about the torque converter as well. Might be a mod I do toward Christmas along with some DR's. I just want to know results from cars with a I/P/T

Four of my crank allen bolts sheared in half so I sent it in for repairs/replacement.

Due to private track rentals there is no open track days until March 8th...........then Mopars at The Strip is March 19-22 which is an event that everybody on the West coast should attend.

I think the safe presumption is that there was insufficient design/engineering/R&D with the v1 parts. The good news (from reading the Eurocharged thread) appears to be that significant efforts are being made to improve those areas.

Yep, I had a long conversation with Jerry and he has done a LOT of R&D before release and ongoing changes/modifications. My pulley setup is one of the original ones released and didn't benefit from others' trial/error. Nothing's perfect and I'm just glad LET stands behind their products unlike many other vendors I have dealt with in the past.

I have addressed the pulley issue many times you must periodically re-tourque the hex cap bolts.

You needed to buy the first unit! I'm pretty sure LET sold me the very first 185mm unit. (I'm so lucky)

I took this picture this morning - over 13K miles - near 30 dyno pulls - and lots of hard driving on this pulley - no WP pulley cracking, no bolts backing out, belt shread or any other issue. Actually - the only time I re-torqued the bolts was after 500 miles.

LET is providing me a version II WP pulley to take to the Texas Mile just-in-case. I'll also take along an extra belt. Thanks Jerry!!

Sure wish there was 1/4 mile track open in the DFW or Waco area when I'm there - I look forward to meeting you Texas Crossfire owners.

I used to be in the army at ft. Hood in the day - 1970 and hung out at Belton to be off base. It was the time of drive-ins Churchs fried chicken and lots of bats , I remember Waco...

Madcap enough that most just let me be, as the Indians said "he's been touched by the gods". In the usa it is more of a short bus mentality. Enjoy Woody

My best friend (gave me my nick name/screen name) moved is hotrod shop from CA to Crawford a few years ago. But the big "C" cut him down - I still visit his family when I get the chance.

See if Scott will go to Houston Raceway Park with you on the way back.

You know we have a standing mile(and trying to start standing 2 mile) competition here in Las Vegas every September............and there's a 1/4 mile track 10 miles away from that event sight.

funny thing is a lot of the issues that I personally have seen are due to not properly torqued hex bolts and people reusing the crank bolt.

As previously mentioned...the crank bolt is 1 time use only. If reused it is bound to fail eventually.

just my 2 cents...

Is this just on the LET pullies? I don't recall anyone ever mentioning replaceing the crank bolt with a new one before the ASP install?
