Code3 Supercharger Pulley for sale
Also some are missing the point that both are for different reasons. The original is not for stacking or C3 would have figured it out and put and released a tune in partnership with a tuner. The new one is for stacking and by itself I'm going to assume is less power. What was posted before was right IMO, why not just get a 181 of the 178 is not enough power for you. I don't think any of you besides distant and MD have even reached the potential of even one pulley. The original was supposed to be equal to the 178 for half the price, nobody in 11's with it yet. I would of liked someone get there first before opening a new can. 12.2's the fastest with the largest SC pulley?
Also zero problems with the asp product, the idler pullied that failed on ChiTown's original car failed due to rust. Not because of higher rpms than bearing allowed. Also is the only one, even on MB's. Even with the 181's and 185's it was only the w/p pullies that failed, not the crank pulley. Maybe misalignment but no failure.

there are multiple threads with multiple people with failures. so much so that all the bearings were replaced on the water pump pulley.
regardless, as with any mod the best thing to do is to do a few searches or scroll through the srt6 section and decide for yourself on which way to go.
there are a few good options out there and there are a couple of bad ones.
i never stick a part on my car without doing the research myself and finding out what is misinformation and what is truth.
just enjoy your car and have fun with it. that is what it is for.
as for the 11's with the code3, i do not think anyone has ran a 100 octane tune with it. the 178mm pulley does make a little more power from what it seems but the code3 is a great option too and is super easy to install. they are both good choices for these cars.
there is no need for this thread to turn into another which pulley is best opinion thread, lets just say that doing some research on here is the best thing to do

I like the sc option and if I wanted to hit 11.5's then I'd look into tuning for the proper sized one in a combo situation. As for 11's with just the pulley on 110 octane, I don't think it's going to happen. Kudo's to the first who does, and I will be the first to congratulate. Even with -250 DA gator went 12.22 with stocks. That's with some nitrous in the air. 12.0's will be a challenge to meet.

Just as the SC pulley had some problems in the beginning, it too could have been caused by install error.

what is your best run without the NW intake manifolds and 100 octane tune?
11.89 at 1600' positive feet DA, the vid is in my sig. 11.97 at 2100' DA with just the mani's. when I added the Ypipe I ran 11.97 again but at 500' higher (2600') DA. I would love to run in negative DA just once. I never hit 11's with just the pulley. 12.02 was the closest I got. Again with DA above 2000' feet.

BTW, the 12.02 was with the 93 octane tune.

if you read up on the forums you will see a hell of a lot less issues with the code3 than the crank pulleys.
