Here is another more high end mod, more like software mod. As MHP puts it full driveline tuning with ECU/TCU tuning even raising the stall. The C32 is very similiar to our cars, and TCU tuning would be great to have. At $1500 by itself or $3000 for the package, no thanks. Another area with lots of potential but at a much better price point.

AEM Standalone? Yes please. Plug and play would be great
Id like to see a different supercharger option. Be it a bigger twin screw or something like a vortech..
Bigger TB? The E55 stuff is like 2grand for a TB kit... Are you kidding me... really...
I like the idea of seeing what a TC and DS would do, would like to see gear/posi option avail.
Suspension stuff would be awesome! Some big hollow swaybars, poly bushings, camber kits. A nice big migged strut bar would look cool! Dont know how much it would help on our cars though.
Rasonable cold air intakes! You want to get some business, make some nice cold air intakes in the $250 range!!! Nothing against vendors that offer nice quality equipment. However I dont see why a quality piece of tube and a filter with some clamps cant be cheaper.
Bolt on full exhaust would be nice to see since no one makes one.

Good luck with the clutchless s/c pulley if you can make one with no loss in driveability id be all over it. Nothing sucks like a vette pulling up next to you and theres no time to downshift so you punch it and have to wait a half second for power.
Also, build a good set of tubular headers that fits PROPERLY for less than a G.
If you built an air to air fmic with proven drops and sustained drops in IAT's id be interested.
As far an exhaust and all the parts i just mentioned dyno results are an absolute must. Nothing like building a $1500 exhaust to discover it makes more noise but no more power, not speaking from experiance or anything.

I would like to have a place that can port, polish, coat, enhance, whatever, to our existing superchargers. I posted something in another thread about a revised intercooler system that have proven incredible results in some MB supercharged cars. Reasonable priced headers would be nice. I just think you have to think outside the box to find any significant gains out of these cars that haven't already been addressed.
Shouldn't a great tuner know what these cars need that will make a big difference instead of asking the owners? Why not produce things on JR's car at cost, provide the results from testing, and then mass market them across the 32 line?
Oh, and as far as a wife's car goes, my grandma could build a 9 second Camaro.
I think many secretly desire SC that can effienctly boost over 20+psi, or a turbo set up. The map sensor can't see over 24-25 psi i think and then we run lean, so that may need to be adressed. I know this SC can boost 18-25+ psi but not efficently and I think thats why many see little or no gain at the 1/4 mi track anything over 20. Maybe I am alone on this but if i could run a high 10 low 11 crossfire i would be happy... for awhile
.
This gets somewhat disscussed here https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=31186.

1) THROTTLE BODY UPGRADE .... on the E55 its big bucks but also considerable power to be made!
2) PORT & POLISHED STOCK SUPERCHAGER ... I dont know on Mercedes but i know it makes a big difference on COBRA's
3) CHEAPER CRANK PULLIES
4) EXPLORE THE STACKED PULLIES ROUTE AND SEE IF YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK WITHOUT LEAN CONDITIONS & OTHER PROBLEMS
Have a nice day

Clearing out my Mail Box (over limit) and ran into this thread. I offered to send in my torque converter and no reply.
Stay tuned, there may be more oldies but goodies coming up.

i think everyone is missing the obvious. AN INTERCOOLER THAT WORKS!! strut towers c/f driveshaft and lightweight cheap rims for the dr's
