I run at a track that's lenient with convertibles. It might be due to Test-and-Tune but no one has come up to me that I can't run and I was making 12.2 passes for most of the day. maybe they figure those 2 roll hoops behind us are sufficient.
I'm not saying anything about it, I just bring my helmet and run. I'm sure if I tried to bracket race someone would say something but I ust go when other street cars are out there. It is nice though, after running at the track, to put the top down and enjoy the open air.
Just be careful of the rear window separating if you do buy a vert. It's a ~$2200 job if you're out of a warranty.
