Coolant
My car's temp needle stays at half way mark...but lately it has started to go over a little. Could be that it's starting to get above 80 degrees here now.? What coolant do we use to fill IC tank. What radiator fluid do you guys use. 50/50 mixture?
That’s normal, if the needle is slightly over half as you depicted, your coolant temp is around 198-201 deg. I use the 50/50 from the dealership and distill water, greenish color 50/50.

The correct antifreeze/coolant for all Crossfires is a HOAT (Hybrid Organic Acid Technology) coolant.
There are only a few commonly available coolants that are compatible with the factory fill coolant, in the United States, anyway. I think that there are more options, including a BASF formulation, in other markets.
1) MB part number Q 1 03 0002. 1 Gallon container. Owner's manual calls for this,or Zerex G-05.
2) Mopar Part No. 05066386AA. 1 Gallon of MS-9769 five year coolant. Part number from the service manual and Mopar chemicals guide.
3) Valvoline Zerex G-05 HOAT. Does not explicity meet MB 325.0, but Service manual says it is OK. Sold as both full strength and pre-cut 50/50 with distilled water.
Zerex is the best price of the three, typically $14.50 to $17.00 at Pep Boys or NAPA. My local Benz dealer gets $22 a gallon for its magic cooling juice, and my local Chrysler MOPAR dealer wanted $28 a gallon for their proprietary mix.
Unless the system is very, very, very, very, very well flushed of all old coolant, do not mix coolant technologies, stick with one of the above three part numbers (plus distilled water to fill the balance of the system) and you should be fine.
Click the image to go to my gallery page for the picture, which will then link to a (MUCH!) bigger version, sharp enough so you can read the mixing table on the back of the bottle.

NOTE: Factory fill is blue, Benz stuff is yellow or blue. Both are compatible.

It seems to me that 198-201 is a bit high for coolant temperature...
And I couldn't find the exact part number, but I'm pretty sure the coolant for the W203 (C32/SRT6) has a blue hue.
EDIT: ^^ He beat me to it.

Dumb question - where are you getting the temperature read out? My guage just shows H-M-L. All three pretty much run at the M or a needle width either side (lower in cold weather, a tad higher in hot weather and traffic). I've been in bumper2bumper traffic on a 90o day and the roadster only went a needle over the M.

The Chrysler Dealer did not offer a power flush, just a gravity drain of the fluid, so my choice was easy, go with the Mercedes service @ $125.00 and know it was done properly the first time.
