Default Painted strakes 2 tone and rest of grille black

Painted the grille black and painted the side strakes 2 tone, the "gills" are the stock silver/dark gray and the strakes are black. I think it turned out pretty nice. I am not sure on the handles yet, I may leave them silver. The strakes were a ***** to tape up, i had to cut little slivers of tape to go in between the gills. The first time the tape pulled off some of the paint and i had to sand and repaint them. The 2nd time I ran a knife along the edge of the tape to be safe and it came right off.

Here are a few quick photos after I washed it off:

Can't quite see the two tone on the strakes. On my monitor they look like a dard smoke color.

Nice job on the rest. Good looking SRT.

Your car looks great.

How do you like your tires. I am on my seond set and I love them, although I wish I could get a few more miles before having to replace them.

the ultac tires? they are quiet, handle great on dry and the wet. i just burned through them too fast going to the road course and dragstrip this year lol. they are almost to the wear bars already. i can not believe how quiet these things are, they are the quietest performance tires i have ever had.

I agree. I have these and they are super quiet and they perform outstanding!! I would even say these are better than my toyo proxes! they do wear fast though oh well...... Btw, I love the blacked out grille! Looks great!

I have the same response regarding the tires. They are terrific all around tires and are quiet to boot. I tried others on this forum to check them out, but didn't make any headway. But hey, that is their loss.
