'05 SRT6 Problems
I recently purchased my second Crossfire and decided to build it up. I looked around on sites for a while and decided to buy from TVT design. Purchased the top package (TVT 450) and pretty much every other upgrade his site offered. After 3 weeks of waiting for Anthony to ship the products, we finally got them. NO INSTRUCTIONS, DIRECTIONS, IT WAS MISSING PARTS (Gaskets, Spacers, Plumbing, Lines), SOME WERE THE WRONG PARTS (Intake), and the new injectors cause the fuel rail to sit too high.
My friend is the ASE CERTIFIED tech installing the product at HIS PERSONAL SHOP AND GARAGE ( It has a 4 wheel dyno ) and it has been a mess trying to get this kit to work.
After dozens of non returned calls and emails to TVT and ANTHONY, we are sitting with a low mileage SRT6 that does not run properly ( Enging revs and stalls )
We had to have a few custom parts made and machined and are still getting nowhere.
PLEASE ADVISE!?!

Keep trying to contact Tony and TVT...they are the one's who need to deal with this. This is your first post on this forum, so from that, I assume you haven't searched thru the threads dealing with the install of these parts. That would be the next step. I am not going to bash TVT or Anthony. Your friend is probably a great mechanic, but is he a certified MB or XF mechanic? You need to keep trying TVT to get to the bottom of your problems. Just my .02...
well i think the TVT guys are a pretty good bunch, but if I think I do remember a previous thread about poor contact from them. But I also remember that they had been dealing with alot of things at the moment. Still, if your friend is a ASE certified good mechanic, MB/XF or not, if he has the right parts he should be able to install them and get the car running... So like oledoc said, I would keep trying to contact them, and with this thread being up they should deff. get in contact with you... Post back and let us know how it all turns out since your post is a little concerning. And welcome to the forum, throw up some pics and show off the low miles SRT6.

First off the car won't run with bigger injectors without a custom tune. That was the first mistake. All you need is a fuel pump from the AMG SL-55 that solves all you fueling concerns and the car will still run even without a tune with this pump. Start from there.
Thank you for your welcome and advice. I was actually a member when this forum started but my first car was totaled ( 04 Coupe, XFireOhio ) and stopped posting. Tried to use my old membership name but could not get it working. Probably because I had not been on in so long. Anyways, I need to find info on the Needswings Dual CAI. Any help on how to get it. I have put in multiple requests there as well.
I had the TVT guys do some work last week, and they were really easy to get in touch with, set up an apt., and fast work.
Good luck, I'd give them another call.
Regards,
Steve

I did the full tune with LET Motorsports. They were the only solid part of the whole process. To address a previous comment, My mechanic is very knowledgeable and able. We needed answers to technical questions regarding some of the parts that were not included. He felt it was not best to continue without any insight from someone that had done the work before. In my eyes a very reasonable and professional thing to do. When installing the phenolic spacers, only one gasket was included. Which side of the spacer do they belong on or both? We had to buy OEM ones to fill the void of the missing TVT ones. Same thing with the intake manifold. Do we need gaskets on one side, both, or none?
Also, I would love to set up an appt. Even willing to drive 6 hours there. Cannot get a hold of them. AGAIN, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, PRODUCT, AND ZERO SUPPORT.

A huge thank you to the staff at NEEDSWINGS.COM. They were able to straighten out all of the issues and answer all of the questions. If you get a chance, please visit their website and support them. Thank you to the members of the forum who have graciously accepted a new GREEN member and tried to help. I look forward to being a member here. THANKS AGAIN!!!
