Need advise on autocross wheels
I would like to purchase the cheapest set of wheels for front and rear. I want to mount Hoosiers for my local autocross. What is the cheapest way to go? Please be specific as I have never looked at aftermarket wheels and I have no idea what size, offset, spacers I would need.
I have a set of limited wheels that I use now with slicks. Hoosiers mount on the rim because they are offset on the beads to be 1" narrower than kumo's.
That is why I went to the hassel of getting a third set of rims and spacers so that I could rotate the wheels, 18" x 8" wide. Lots of fit work needed but its a car and I like learning things. Thinking of using street tires due to the cost and wear rate of slicks due to camber, too much I think, measured 2.5 degrees. Woody
