do i need this? cost for a/f readings goes up to 150 for 3 pulls. am told its to cover the cost of the o2 sensers. additionally if i dont ahve a bung for the wideband 02 its an additional 50 to weld in the bung. just want a baseline. do the runs as is and log boost? or do i need a/f readings for baseline?

Just go for the baseline and you will have your starting numbers, pre-mods.

I've only dynoed on Dynojet's here in Las Vegas during "dyno days" and it cost $50-60 for 3 pulls with A/F readings. The only difference between no A/F and A/F readings is the little sniffer they put in the cars tailpipe. Maybe they do something different on a Mustang dyno.............or maybe the shop is just trying to gouge you because you don't know any better. Sounds fishy to me though.

dont know much about this shop. i know they are big in the ford mustangs groupos around nashville, as for prices i cant say. never dyno'd a car before. my harley was dyno'd at bike week and runs were 50 each or 3 for 100. not really apples to apples. the reason im going here is its only a few miles from my house. 55 for o2 sensor doesnt give me any warm fuzzies but 50 to weld a bung doesnt sound to far off. at this point i just want the baseline numbers so i can see how the c3 performs

Wow, we typically charge $65 for 3 pulls with boost, AFR and hookup.

Mustangs are good, just be prepared for low numbers, and make sure you tell them if you switched rim size etc.

For me too. Chicago is a hike!

Jake: is that dyno mobile? You should bring it to the Dragon in October. I bet you'd get your money's worth out of that trip!

I would suspect there would be quite a few folks from the Atlanta area (at least me )
who would certainly be interested in the dyno and tune if you were able to bring the
equipment to the October Dragon run. I've been wanting to get a tune for a while, but
there doesn't seem to be any tuners in this area, and I don't have the time to either
drive out of State or mail off my ECU (need the car every day). I can't speak for others,
but I'd have cash in hand for such an opportunity.

Coyote (75K on the odometer now).
