We could machine down a customer's pulley, be it C3 or stock to any dimension the pulley will allow. The cost for this is 375.00. This is not something we are looking to take on full time as we are busy as it is with customer's cars. If you are interested in this just shoot me an email letting me know what dimension you want the pulley. We can do overnight both ways and it will be about a 4 day turn around. Also a great time to send out the ECU to get tuned.
As for the belt slip, the pulley is grooved for a slightly better grip over stock. I'll chalk that up to the machine shop building 1000's of engines and knowing what works and what doesn't. So far no slip, but we offer a belt wrap kit as well.
I'm not really sure how much faster we want to spin these SCs. I think the 69mm/178mm is about the safest limit for power and reliability. An extra pound of boost isn't worth a potential SC failure.
I am a huge believer in the 178 over the 181 or 185 for decreased accessory wear, quicker throttle response and a good deal of weight savings with the new LET design. I think we are going to see the fastest cars with a 178mm/SC pulley combo.

You'll never believe this but I flashed the file on the car using that cable we were messing with at Carlisle. We'll have to meet up and get it to work some time.
Definately takes a great tune and cooling to maintain that kind of performance for that amount of time. Have you ran against any of the higher hp ferrari's or other exotics? I bet you give them a heck of a run. Now I'd love to see that on video.

Unfortunately here in Germany there are not many places where you can run your car in the 1/4 mile with taking ET's, MPH, 60' and all that that times. We also run only on Street tires here. If I can get enough traction from the start I think a time a tad under 12sec. is also in my car. Would be interesting.
We here in Germany do Performance and Tuning Comparisons more from a rolling start and at higher speeds. At higher speeds traction, reaction time etc. are not so important. Only the Real Power of the Engine counts and there are no excuses. The engine has to work much harder at WOT in 4th or 5th gear. But I also like the Competition Spirit in the U.S. with Drag-Racing in the 1/4 mile very much.Thumbs up. Must be fun !!
By the way, I mailed with Brian Brave, who did the "Texas Mile" with 169 MPH = 270 KM/H in his SRT6. Next time he will take times for his Mile run. Than we can compare his and my times. This would be great!!!

Alright, that's great news. Can't wait to see the results. Love the different combos with the 178.

The owner is a very experienced drag racer with a previous car being a blown 9 sec Mustang.
As for the porting, the machine shop we use is going as large as possible that still maintains proper velocity. We have a bunch of spare SC and manifold housings to practice different sizes and runner shapes, so the effort will be worth it.
Unfortunately, we are reaching the very limits of this engine. After the breathing mods I only expect about 25-30 HP at most. THe graph (which I will get up soon) doesn't really signify that it is running out of air. If anything, at this point a real intercooler would make the most difference.

Today I took a ride in a Porsche 996 Turbo (Stock) from a friend of mine. I am very impressed by his car!! Damn, this car goes under full boost !!! Maybe I can do a little friendly race with him on the Autobahn on video...This would be interesting if I could catch up with him to 170-180 MPH? Dont know if he is faster, I think this would be close. These Porsche Turbos are fast...
I can also keep my eyes open if I see a Ferrari, but you don't meet one on the Autobahn too often. I would also love to do a little comparison...

Its funny when the other "major" tuners around here don't even have access to 80% of the maps on the car.
Awesome numbers, great work as usual!
