Right now in regards to gaming Uncharted 2 and Borderlands is keeping me busy.

In response to pc vs console:
my response to that old chestnut is always that while playing a shooter on pc is like surgery, but there is a certain charm to playing a game on the sofa with a 1080p projector and 7.1 sound!
Also: you can connect a mouse and keyboard to your console if you really want.

Once the newest-gen systems came out and ran 720/1080 HD I made the switch to console gaming only. It was a PITA getting used to COD2 with a controller. It's like second nature now but it's still not as natural as keyboard and mouse.
Finally, I feel the console systems are a better bang for the buck. Keeping up with technology on the pc (graphics cards, SLi, etc) is quite expensive. Plus you never had incompatible hardware setups. Just pop it in and it works.
PS I saw Fallout on my friends PC with the high-res textures loaded...wow! Looks amazing.

Bang for the buck, sure on the initial investment. But pc games are cheaper and you get tons of extras from developers and mods. It cost a lot to always have the best hardware but most systems can play games for years before you have to get a new system. That's the point where I'm at. New pc or more mods for the xfire!!!

+1 I doubt the xfire will be on GT5 anyway. Forza is so much more in depth, the modding side of things is awesome. U can do practicaly anything u can think of
