Default FS: Code3 SC Pulley

I have a perfect Code 3 Pulley that I used for a few thousand miles before I moved up to a 185mm LET/EuroCharged crank pulley. This is a one of C3's second gen units, and it works flawlessly. I'll take $400 plus shipping for it. Includes the shims. PM me if interested--

I was super happy with it as well, but went on the quest for even more power. HCarter can have fun with it now...

only takes about an hour to put the pulley on. its all the other things i found to do while i was in the engine that takes so long!! i ended up replacing 3 other pulleys while in the bay.
sorry i wont be at the dragon. family in town and when the eurocharged dyno tune fell thru i decided to wait. maybe next yr.

dont worry about proper spacing numbers. what you are looking for is getting the pulley as close as possible to the clutch without it rubbing. this may require installing shims 1 at a time torqueing and measuring repeatedly.
WARNING!!!! do not i repeat do not overtorque the s/c bolt! 20 nm not ft/lbs torque. if you go ft/lbs convert the 20 nm. this bolt will break easily and can be replaced for only 1000!$$. thats right . the bolt is only sold with the oem pulley and bearing.

You can buy a bolt at the hardware store a lot cheaper..... it dosent have to have a hollow center.......

i know a bunch have done that. but im guessing theres a reason its low torque with a hole thru it. dont know the reason but theres one!

Just dropped the C3 pulley off at the airport, HC...all snug in foam and spooning with a brand new idler pulley.

Krazy Steve is right: Don't overtorque the bolt! You'll want to because it simply won't seem tight enough, but just use blue loktite on it for peace of mind. You'll need to get a strap wrench. And I recommend putting on a new belt at the same time.

I'll say this about the C3 pulley -- regardless of what the dynos on different pulleys say, the C3 is a monster light-to-light. Wait til you add a tune!
