Every so often I get a flashing fuel pump light on the laft side of my dash. I turn of the car and restart and it is gone. I checked my fuel cap and fuel door both were closed tight. Anybody know what this warning light means?

 

I would say you are low on fuel....lol....or your sensor for "you are low on fuel" isn't working correctly...

 

I have run it down low enough that the fuel light comes on but it does not blink. I guess it could be set up to blink if you are really low on gas but I never have let my tank get that low. When it did it today I had almost half a tank of gas.
