SRT-6 vs B8 Audi S4
This was against the new V6 S4.. Alot quicker than I thought they would be. We were in Mexico when this happened.

Ha yeah im not sure I would have picked yellow. It does look a little better in person. I was expecting to beat him by alot more. Supposedly they are under rated from the factory.
Not surprising to me actually. They aren't bad little four doors.
I'm not sure how much you know about teh B8 S4, but its a V6TT and puts out the same HP numbers as the SRT6 (330). It also weights about 200lbs less than the SRT6 meaning that there is some offset right there for the Needswings Intake.
The AWD would definitely propel him to a win in a race from a dig, but from a roll you should beat him, but not by anymore than a car to say about 130mph.
IMHO of course.

Pulley and tune are next!
And ZAHANMA I do know alot about them, they are a V6 supercharged not a tt the 2000-2002 were v6tt. One thing I did not know was that they were lighter than us!

Luckily u have a NW intake or u would have been in a pickle!
Their engine is similar to ours, A few things.. They actually weigh more we are just under 1.5 tonne they are abit over 1.6. 3.0L SC 330HP AWD. They are ONLY offered in auto dual clutch in Australia not sure if thats the case else where in the world. They do low 13s in reviews. I think ive seen a high 12 on one review. Great engine Not a bad four door at all! Thats a great vid thanks for posting i was always curious how we would fare against an S4!

Whatever it's putting on the road from a performance stand-point, it's not because of a weight advantage. They're heavy cars, at least 400 pounds heavier than an SRT6.
This is the spec on a 2001 S4 twin turbo.
Length: 176.7 in. Width: 68.2 in.
Height: 54.9 in. Wheel Base: 103 in.
Ground Clearance: 3.5 in. Curb Weight: 3704 lbs.
They've only gotten heavier since. The next generation V8 S4 that replaced it is well above 4,000 lbs. The new supercharged V6 doesn't lose much of that weight.
But...manual transmission/AWD but it doesn't take much in the way of mods to turn up the boost. Like our AMG built 3.2l, the Audi's engine can handle a lot more.

The new supercharged all wheel drive S4's are very heavy, about 600 pounds heavier than my SRT6. How can they be lighter than ours when the lighter 4 cylinder A4's weigh more than ours? Check the link below..

I am in the Pacific Northwest and have attended Pacific Raceways Audi Club track days when I had my E36 M3 and those AWD Audi's can track REALLY, REALLY well in the rain
.
When the first TT's came out if I recall they where winning their classes in the road racing series like Speedvision Cup and the SCCA pro series.
Running them on the interstate is one thing, doing the foul weather game is another
Just my .02
Cheers,
Ty

There is no way that awd 4 door weights less than the crossfire... i am not gonna look up specs because im certain it weights more. Those things can move man. They take off nasty quick too. nice kill/death
