Default Wheels

Waiting on the rims to be brought back from the shop, getting them powder coated in gun metal. My wife Carmela (aka "camieSRT" which has only posted 1 time in here) wants to eventually get the window surround, side starks and door handle done in gun metal.

You have my attention! I keep thinking how great gunmetal would look with Aero Blue, but being color blind I need to see it first. Don't forget to post photos. If it looks bad I won't do it. If it looks good, I'll most likely buy some aftermarket wheels in gunmetal and save the stock ones in the closet.

This picture makes me think of the national lampoons movie where they stop in St. Louis to ask for directions and a group of guys steal the wheels off the car while they were inside and left it on blocks.

And the finished product., very happy with the results.

It's going to look real good I think when we get everything else done in gun metal.

Looks very nice. How much did the powder coating cost? Thanks

I got a great deal, a friend of mine has a shop that does it. $89.00 each. Normally $165.00 each

Wow.... great deal. It is always nice to have friends that can do stuff for our cars. I bet those would look good on a black roadster also. Hmmmm.....
