Default what a dissapointment

I recently received the original luggage to my SRT6 roadster. I discovered it has a VIN. Not to my car but to itself. This luggage is very exclusive. My SE luggage has no VIN. Gary

They are well made, but tighed1 is probably right:

"TRG's St. Louis-based design team is the creative force guiding product development, while the items are manufactured in China, Vietnam and Thailand"

It's in the bag - St. Louis Business Journal

Yes, the sets have a serial number and can be registered with Chrysler. If they are lost, they can be traced back to the owner through the s/n. I received an original set with my roadster (which I bought new) and last year a guy was selling sets through this forum and I bought a set for my SRT6 plus a set for my son (who owns the 2007). More luggage than I'll even need but at the time the price, I think $140 set, was too good to pass up.

I spoke too soon. I pulled my Special Edition luggage out of storage and checked it. It has a VIN plate. The luggage has Chrysler Crossfire logo and badges. no SRT6 badges obviously. But identical in all other aspects. It is still in the box as shipped to me from TRG acc. in Mo. Not from Chrysler. I remember now calling TRG to get the luggage in 2006. this Forum has value. Gary
