Supercharger Pulley Bearing
I had a little quiet time today, so I pulled out my 3 volume Crossfire repair manual for a little informative reading.
A fellow forum member was kind enough to include a supercharger pulley bearing with the purchase of a new in the box SRT6 luggage set.
For the heck of it I thought would check out the bearing replacement procedure for down the road.
I could't find it anywhere in the manuals.
Am I not seeing it or is it not in the repair manuals?
Some input please!
BTW
If anyone should need a page or two scanned and emailed, I could do that for you.

I checked the service manual, and it is not in there either... Just how to remove and install the pulley. You will need a bearing press to change them out.
a word of caution!!! the bolt that holds the pulley on is hollow. you will break this bolt if you use more than 20 nm of torque. the cost of a replacement bolt is 1000$!!! you cant buy it separete. as bob said a press is needed to push out the bearing but be careful not to hurt the outside of the pulley

You could also replace the bolt with a matching size from your hardware or auto parts store.... but be sure to follow the factory torque spec.... you just wont have to worry about twisting it in half.... of course there are differing opinions on doing a replacement
If/when I have to replace the bearing on mine it will be get a new solid bolt....

How much do these Supercharger kits go for? In my repair manual they says that I need to remove the supercharger drive belt first before the crankshaft pulley. Does this correct?
