I had this happen to me everytime I dropped the gas pedal to the floor in 1st with my traction control on. I can go out and duplicate it on que. I'll try to video tape it. With traction control off, it's doesn't happen and shifts normally. Does this happen to anyone else? I've never raced with my traction control on, so I've never ran into this on the track.

This was before he went back and sealed up everything, now it's fine. I still agree to double check with a datalog or dyno and make sure it's in the safe zone.

These mani's make a huge difference in what the car feels like. I have said the car sounds like a turbo, even had guys come up to me at the track asking about the turbo. You literally hear the air flowing. Worth every penny for you guys on the fence about this mod.

No, I have not done it myself but I was interested in this product and checked out the PLX site. It was in the installation instructions on the site. You could use the pre cat sensor on either side of the motor. Post cat sensor are used to monitor Cat efficiency not AFR.

quick update for you koveleski.... jerry retuned my ecu by remote cable. awesome!! he mails me a cable i plug into my laptop and obdii port. then logg into a website and he can use my puter to retune!! (of course my pos puter didnt help me much! error booted off web countless times!) anyway after he turns on my O2 sensors , reset my fan settings, and reflash my tune im seeing 11.9 to 12.3 at 5800 rpm and 18 lbs boost. car feels strong pulls like a beast and no the afr's are in a safe place. retune highly recommended!

If u exceed 19+ psi boost again, your a/f will not be safe. The colder it gets the easier it is to exceed..

prolly wont happen. with the c3 19 lbs is the most i have ever seen. 11.9 at 18 lbs is right were the car should be. climbing above 13 afr would take more boost than my c3 can produce. 20+ reserved for the 181,185 group!

also common sense has to be used. temps in the 30's or 40's with summer tread isnt a good thing and if i wasnt datalogging to see what the mods did to my afr the car would be in the garage. racing has halted here for the winter and wont reopen till the spring. then 60* weather is were the car really shines and 19 lbs boost is max at best

I was clarifying for the readers of your post, the retune didn't solve your leaning issue. It was your C3 inability to reach 19+ psi again...

i disagree with your statement completely. the car was tuned with basically stock airflow setup that flowed in the 400 cfm range. adding a setup that flows 770 cfm leaned the car drastically. the difference in boost of 1 lb isnt going to lean my 32 out the way the tune did. retuning the car added fuel to the mix and now my afr's are in a very acceptable range actually almost perfect range for a forced induction car. im datalogging 10 different engine functions and the difference in the 2 tunes are night and day. the lean issue didnt have anything to do with the abilities of the c3 until better and different mods were added to the mix.
lesson to be learned is that if your modding datalogg, if you add componets to a setup that changes anything within the ecu parameters retune. just my .02

Hey Steve did you send Jerry datalogs? that would be fantastic to have it done with the cable but InMotion wont send the cable overseas ! I'm glad your AFR issues were sorted out thats the main thing.

initially i did . it seems he has done enough of these tunes that he knew which fuel file he wanted to add. he did a number of other changes which have really smoothed out the feel of the power.
i did a little search and the cable doesnt seem that hard to find. maybe you could purchase a cable to keep and reflash when you add more nods. (you know your gonna!!)
