185 pulley
185 pulley
Alright im about to take the plunge on this Pulley. Eurocharged is having a great deal on this and since its harder to get a code 3 this is like the best way to go. My question is how hard is the install? i can easily install/uninstall the stock s/c pulley. This will def be a bit more more complex but how so? and The most important question of all. Will i really run out of fuel and have increased IAT's? I plan on getting the needswings downpipes cuttouts along wit this which should def bring the temps down. I know this has been beaten to death but want to hear if there are any updates out there. I'm 2 min away from sending money on paypal. lol

Re: 185 pulley
Holy,
PM me your email address and I'll send you the instructions that I have.
It's not a very difficult install and can be done in the garage with jackstands and if you don't have an impact wrench, a friend to pin the flywheel.
I strongly suggest you get the longer Gates (K081153) serpentine belt and keep the factory idler pulley..

Also purchase the NeedsWings pulley saver kit. Then NeedsWings fuel upgrade kit. You want run completely out of fuel. You will just run lean enough at the top of third to damage your engine. I'm still running lean and letting the Mustangs pass on buy to save my engine. Squirrel Crusher

Inspected the plugs at 19K looking for any issues... None found..

I seem to remember that there was a discussion on the board about running lean with the 185's and the conclusion was that those who are running modified intake manifolds were the ones with lean issues (for the most part).
