Will Mods kill my warranty?
I have a Chrysler Certified Warranty on my vehicle, and I wanted to get your opinion if the mods that were done to it (before my purchase) could have impact on the warranty. The vehicle has upgraded pully's, PCM update, and an upgraded intercooler. I'm planning on installing my NW single CAI as well. Thoughts, suggestions?
I'm thinking that since the mods were on the vehicle when it was certified, then I should be safe?

its a safe bet that most shops wouldnt know a upgraded pulley if it fell on their foot. as for the ecu tune and i/c unit without star das and visually seeing the i/c they would never know. putting a cai is an obvious mod and the s/a or tech would prolly see it.
if the warrenty was transferred from the previous owner the mods were most likly installed post warrenty and the shops never saw them

That's what I suspected, thanks. Actually I just bought this car last week from a Chrysler dealership, and they sold it to me with these mods on it. To me, its implied that they "certified" the vehicle with the mods that were done to it.

the selling dealership outlined the modifications in an email prior to purchase.

well you should be fine then regarding the mods. before you get the single you could call and ask them if it would void the warrenty and i would check out rudy's n/w dual cai he has for sale . that will really wake your ride up!
What type of HP difference would the dual make over the single? Would it be more dramatic if it was tuned by Eurocharged in Houston? Maybe the guys at NW would be willing to upgrade my single to a dual CAI.

I don't have an SRT but I can tell you the Chrysler dealer I took my car to bent over backwards to make sure they fixed my car for me and got everything back together the right way and I have the Needwings dual CAI and a Magnaflow exhaust on the car. The service writer even had me show the tech what he would have to remove to get to the warrantied part that needed replacing. I wish I could speak to your pulley and intercooler and yes I have a Chrysler extended warranty on the car.
