I did the same diameter piping with a 2-1 split 3/4 of the way back with a high flow resonator-still stock muffler. The car does feel stronger so I can see how it gains a couple mph's in the quarter.

That's correct. Myself, ImportLabSRT, and the guys at Eurocharged have spent hours looking at this on different occasions to see if it was possible to put LT headers in there. They just don't see it possible without firewall modification. Even then it may not work unless you got solid engine mounts so the engine doesn't torque under load.

As mentioned in a previous post, the shorty style headers with a full custom exhaust do gain some hp, and yes you do lose some torque...but then again, we have plenty to spare and could definitely use some help on the back end of the 1/4 mile where the N/A cars start to catch up.

I quite like the G35 and now the G37 from what i have read about them they arent all that much quicker than the G35 because of weight issues. Judging from my race with a 370 I think the SRT6 should easily walk it, they arent bad off the line but i dont think they have any where near the sort of pulling power our cars do on a roll

Not at all. I have headers a true dual exhaust (eurocharged) and a bunch of other mods and dynoed at eurocharged at 348HP and 460ftlbs torque. yep Eurocharged exhaust makes torque and HP

Now, the G37 S is not supercharged, but the addition of a larger intake
should provide that car with some extra power, and our friend with the SRT
has modified his exhuast, possibly loosing some low end torque. With the
G37 S rated at 225HP stock and the SRT-6 at 330 stock (yes, I know the
controversy on that), it seems to me that this would be a much closer
race than if both cars were bone stock.

So, I think the proof will be in the pudding, and I think our friend may come
back and tell us that it was a very close race.

No way long tube headers will fit. installing the Eurocharged headers was a PITA but well worth it.

How does the 370Z compare to the G37? I walked away from a 370Z from a 40mph punch with my n/a Crossfire. I had two 350z's act like they wanted to play but chickened out. I assumed they they heard a strange sound coming from my exhaust. I just have an Anza muffler and the two extra cylinder upgrade.
