Code 3 Pulley Installed
After months of shopping around on the forum I finally got hold of Satellite's Code 3 Pulley. Finally put it on yesterday afternoon and it sounds amazing and there is definitely a power increase. Ended up needing both shims and it just barely has clearance, but absolutely no problems.
I meant to take step by step pictures to post a How-To but Craig (ckovach) said there is already one floating around on the forum. I couldnt have done it without his help/tools/ experience. Also went ahead and took off the weather strip between the hood and windshield to get a little more air flow.

I had to take mine off because I'm waiting to get my bearing replaced and it's definitely the most significant mod in my opinion. The NW dual was meh, and I already had a tune. But when you put on that pulley, you can really feel the torque increase.
It was amazing how long I had to search to find a C3 install guide on the forum, but I found it under the documentation collection.
I also had to take off the weather strip for the NW dual install and noticed that the hood is a lot rougher on the ears when closed and there's a bit of give when you pull up on it when closed.
Glad you like it!

mjgroves heres a quick way to get the bad bearing out. remove the c clip. knock out the old bearing with hammer and rod. stick the pulley in the oven at 250* for 10 minutes and the bearing in the freezer for 10 minutes. the bearing will drop right in!! reinstall c clip and your done!

Helpful as always krazy! My father mentioned the same method. Anything to watch for when I'm putting the new bearing in? I'm worried about not getting it lined up properly.
The bearing comes through the front of the pulley, not the back, correct? Reverse to put the new one in?
(Sorry to hijack the thread a bit)
