Default Leaking water into the boot?

I've noticed twice now after my car had been outside in the rain that there was a stench coming from inside my car. The first time it was so bad I could hear water sloshing from side to side in the rear. Yesterday it rained and again my mat is damp. Has anyone ever had this problem? Is there any quick fix?

One trunk, liftgate, check the rubberhousings that surround cables going from liftgage to car. Silicone them and problem solved.

Get that water out right now or the pump for the door locks etc will be toast. They are not cheap, so be warned.
The water ends up in the wells under the trunk mat, there is foam in the wells with pockets in them, the water could be in the pockets and in the wells between the foam and the well walls.
Another water entry point is around the gas cap assembly under the lockable door. There is a post for that some where and I'll look for it.
Here they are.

Various leaks mentioned in this thread, read #1, #5 has other links in it and #22 has the pictures.
Good luck.
Keep the pump that's hidden under the foam dry.

Thanks for retrieving the post and Yes thats exactly what happened the water went underneath the foam the first time. I couldn't take it off and was scared to use excessive force and break it. I ended up punching a small hole into the foam and using a vacuum. Yes I know! Very stupid. Would this be something I can get fixed under warranty I believe my 3 years are up by November. I'll deffinately take it into Chrysler Monday. Cheers
