Kolevski, your last assumption is correct. Eric is increasing the pressure of the air going into the SC. It does not cause it to spin any faster. Think about it..... The turbo is forcing air into the SC.... The SC will only spin as fast as the belt is turning the pulley. If the turbo caused the SC to spin faster, it would make the pulley spin faster as well as everything else that the belt spins. That would be an awful mess. LOL

Kind of like what Web 3.0 built for his N/A but on a SRT-6. Adding a centrifugal supercharger to the pulley system that forces air into the standard supercharger.
Maybe a project for the holidays
John.
just a pic thay sent me today with the dyno

Nice! I would love to run against you at 1 of the tracks in Florida. I'll probably get you in the 8th and then watch you breeze by me. Congrats and keep increasing those ponies!

Way to go Eric. Those are some great numbers. If Mimi05SRT6 thinks he can get you in the first 1/8, he must have misread and thought you were turbo only.
Correct me if I am wrong, but your twin charged setup is a monster on the launch as well since you have the turbo feeding the supercharger. Is this correct? You basically have the best of both worlds.... The hard launch of the SC, and the extra power on the back end from the spooled turbo.
I might beat you on the tree if you come to my track. LOL

Bump for an update.
This setup seems to work well on the E55: http://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/5...ml#post5886253

. now im looking into a standalone/piggyback ecu system not sure what one yet will only have around $2.500 to put into it i think or around there but after that and it will be complete i hope lol... .. .. .. .. .. or mby some noss hmmmmm but first got to get that ecu working better

Hi Eric,
The best standalone ECU unit that you could use is the Autronic SM-4. The best way to use it is to use it with the standard ECU. You only need to adjust the fuel, timing with the ECU unit. I have a friend in Sweden with a SLK32 who is running it flawlessly without any issues.
I will mount it in my own SRT-6 within a couple of weeks.
P.S. The Auttronic SM-4 has also a launch control feature

Not standalone then is it?
Haltech makes very for serious standalone's, however if you look at their prices, they better lol. Also bosch makes standalones. They offer features like cruise control, launch control, etc etc... You just have to pay extra.

It is definitely a standalone ECU. The big problem is that the way our ECU is built is very complex and to replace the complete ECU with ABS and all the electronics would be very time consuming and difficult. The ECU is actually very good on taking care of the other things, that is why it would be enough to put it in parallel with the OEM ECU and only let it take care of the fueling, timing, injector duty cycle.

So when does the ECU - margarita automix integration begin?
Which one? lol. All of my ECU's are already mixed integration lol. I fly out friday to Bart to code the C32 ECU to his car for start. I also have been talking some to Jerry about getting Bart a base tune. Steve's is done, of course the work was never truly completed to begin with. Cruise control AND key was never figured out, it was one or the other, which obviously stands at the key lol, but I shot Rudy an idea to get it all factory which will solve the manual trans side for it as well, and were thinking it's the only shot we have. Should be done next chance I get to spend time on it.
My newest addition is a guy in Illinois that has a 98 C43 with a 55 NA swap and added a supercharger. He wants me to convert it to the ME2.8 and manual trans, from the ME2.0, but will probably upgrade to the 55K motor at the same time.
Sounds like some good projects, nice work, buddy. I have to know, what manual trans are you going to use to mate to the 55K motor that will hold and bolt up?
