removed passenger seat now airbag light?
i had some minor water get into the car after leaving the window cracked, so i removed the seat and took out the carpet to get everything to dry properly. As well as i figured now would be as good of a time to get some wiring done for lights and sills. Before removal there were no lights on the dash however after removing the seat, i drove it to a friends garage to airdry and noticed the airbag light was lit. would this be a possible cause of why the light is on or did the censor get wet?

This is an interesting topic as I have removed my passenger seat a couple of times for drag racing. I have never had my airbag light come on. Now maybe it was just luck the couple of times I have had the seat out, but it does make me leery if it could throw a code that I would have to go to the stealership to remove. Have any other drag racers removed the 56lb passenger seat for drag racing. LOL What are your experiences?
Thanks
Thanks

I'm not too sure anything would happen anyway, especially with the battery disconnected as you should when playing near or with bags. I'm not talking about you lady sit down.

That is pretty typical from what I remember If you remove the seat and then start the car, it throws a code, and you need to remove it with star.
The only time I have not seen that throw the error was when a car had a broken or non-working seat sensor.
Just think, on the bmw m5 when you remove the seat, the windshield wipers go off! Ya was like wtf as well...
