Default Suede deteriation

I've had my SRT for about 7 months. It seems as if my suede seats are wearing out VERY quickly, perhaps it's the way i exit and enter the car.

Anybody know of a "trick" to keep the suede from quickly deteriorating?

Yeah, don't slide on the seat, and do not crush the bolster as you get in.
You get enough wrinkles as you get older without putting them in the car seats as well.

Mine is getting rough too. Mercedes' engineers never wore blue jeans I guess.

The material is not suede, it is alcantara, which is a synthetic version of suede, supposed to hold up better than the genuine article and much less expensive.

Worst case, wear them out and have a seat shop install some fresh alcantara inserts later down the road, it won't be too much, and if you are a modder, I have seen some pretty cool interior inserts and stitching used....

Better than becoming a contortionist to get into your sports car

When I first got my SRT the seats looked quite worn, the alcantara was "bobbling", I thought I would need to have them recovered, but I was told to try a bobble off remover that you would use on clothing, it worked great, the seats have come up like new, heres a link to what I used.

Bobble Off

Now to find a way to restore cracks in the leather!

thats for that device, I will be investing in one, once my alcantara gets really bad

I was curious about how well the SRT's interior would hold up about 6 years ago, and I posted this question:

Been waiting for an answer for along time.
