How many quarts of oil do I need?
This Tuesday will be my first oil change on my SRT6 done by myself.
How many quarts of oil do I need?
Should I stick with Mobile 1, because I am thinking about Royal Purple...
Thanks guys

My husband taught me to run the old stuff through a coffee filter and then top it off until the dipstick reads full. I usually only have to add 1/2 a quart or so. Much greener for the environment.
Read the manual. It's 8.5. That's what came out of mine and what went back in. No leaks, no consumption and both the stick and electronic reader indicated it was spot on.

Your best bet is to put all the oil through a coffee maker using a medium ground dark roasted Columbian bean.
It makes the oil darker and it smells a lot nicer. The main benefit being it perks the engine up.

I know Mobile 1 is amazing stuff, they claim it is good for 15 K, but how many miles can you push it before an engine replacement?
